I repeat my message of yesterday
"My attention has been drawn to your web site purporting to attribute candidates as being either Europhile or Eurosceptic.
I note that you have described me as being a Europhile.
This is most certainly not the case and anybody who knows me well would be surprised by this attribution.
I do not know what you rely upon in making your assessment but I cannot recall making any pronouncement in print or in a speech at any time in my political life which would justify your attribution. I would be interested in knowing what it was that caused your attribution, but I can assure you that I have never, either privately or publicly, been "Generally enthusiastic about EU integration and supportive of the Euro".
I must insist that you change my attribution immediately and I regard this as a matter of importance.
I would be happy to be characterised as being "Generally opposed to further EU integration and committed to saving the Pound".
I look forward to hearing from you promptly."
Dear Mr Hess,
Further to our telephone conversation of this morning, I repeat my apology for not responding earlier to your message of last week. But, as said, there has been a problem with receiving e-mails via Demon Internet.
On the basis on what you told me this morning, and what you write in your e-mail, I am very happy to change your classification to Sceptic.
Thank you for helping to make Candidlist more accurate.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Sean Gabb
