Dear Dr. Gabb.
I read with great interest your web site this afternoon. How could you have missed me !!
I have been on the full candidates list since it was reformed. I fought as No. 9 on the London Euro Team. I note you have included 5 of my fellow Candidates, you left off 3 who were elected:-.
Theresa Villiers No 1 elected.Although I doubt they will be seeking a Westminster seat this time round. Also
Charles Tannock No 2 elected.
Nicholas Bethell No 3 elected
Andrew Popat No 7 and myself. What have we done to offend ? Did we make no mark in 11 months of hard campaigning ?
As to my "Euro" credentials can I quote from my own election address from when I fought in my own right in 1994 (I had full control over my election address then - The 1999 London one was by definition a "team" effort) .1994 =......." I will make just one promise and that is never to sell out your interests or Britain's interests to a Socialist, Federalist, United States of Europe"
Incidently campaigning on that message I acheived the best % result foir our Party in the whole Country against a sitting Labour MEP.
I would also mention that I am a regional board member of Business for Sterling and can send you a number of recent press cuttings where I am quoted as supporting them.
Do I need anything more to qualify ??
I would be grateful if you could confirm my name has been added to your site. You are welcome to contact me on [personal number omitted] if you wish to double check anything.
Yours
John Flack
Dear Mr Flack,
I do apologise for having not included you at first on the Candidlist. However, we do not have access to the official Party List, and so have unavoidably missed some people.
I am delighted to include you on the List with a Sceptic classification, and we wish you the very best in your efforts to find a seat at the next election.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Sean Gabb
