IN an article published on March 11, 2000, Paul
Starling made references to a survey of the news of
Tory MPs and Parliamentary candidates compiled by Dr
Sean Gabb. The survey, Candidlist, concerned their
views on the EU.

We would like to point out the information Mr Starling
described as 'secret' is on a freely available
web-site.

Further we would like to make clear that Dr Sean Gabb
is not a member of the Tory Party or a Tory
researcher.

Dr Gabb asks us to point out that the sole purpose of
Candidlist is to offer the public important
information about their prospective elected
representatives.
